Nurses in the speciality of Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing are often referred to as "wounds," ostomies or continent. They provide care for those with severe burns; an opening created after surgery where waste leaves your body- this can be done through either holes made on purpose (ostomy) , leaks caused naturally due stress moments when you lose control over urine flow because there isn't enough pressure inside yourself plus outside forces trying unsuccessfully preventing any more liquid from coming out but not until then blocking off small channels that allow fluid flow around something block.
Unlike ostomy nurses, Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses are responsible for the treatment of patients with wounds and incontinence.
