CNA Jobs in VT

Vermont is one of the six states of New England located in the northeastern part of the country, it was admitted to the union on March 4, 1791, as the 14th state. It is sparsely populated and its capital, Montpellier, is one of the least densely populated capitals in the United States.

Vermont borders Quebec, Canada to the north, New Hampshire to the east, Massachusetts to the south, and New York to the west. From the Canadian border to Massachusetts, the Connecticut River separates Vermont from New Hampshire. The river, from the middle of the low tide line on the west bank, lies entirely within the boundaries of New Hampshire.

In many ways, Vermont is a vibrant survivor of America’s early and simple times. Millions of people visit the state each year, and thousands of out-of-state residents have a second home in Vermont. These people are primarily looking for the beauty and serenity of Vermont’s mountains and narrow valleys, and a sense of the country’s past that stretches throughout the state. White wooden church spires towering over mountain towns, manicured green villagers, herds of cows on hillsides, and the red leaves and gold of fall boulevards are all aspects of picturesque Vermont, in painting and photography became a symbol of rural America.

Many people have left their birthplaces in Vermont to take advantage of opportunities in western or northeastern urban centers. In turn, many creative individuals sought the spiritual refuge offered by the state.

Vermont has never been in the mainstream of the country’s history, but its people and land have infused their country with strength and a sense of continuity that connects the nation’s past accomplishments with its present goals. Virginia is one of the 13 original colonies. It is bordered by Maryland to the northeast, the Atlantic Ocean to the southeast, North Carolina and Tennessee to the south, Kentucky to the west, and western Virginia to the northwest. The state capital is Richmond.
