LPN Jobs in KS
Kansas is located in the American Midwest, bordered by Nebraska to the north, Missouri to the east, Oklahoma to the south, and Colorado to the west. It was named after the Kansas Indian tribe who lived in the area when they met Europeans. The tribe’s name (originally kka:ze) is often said to mean “man of the wind” or “man of the south wind”, although this may not be the original meaning of the word. However, it’s a rather apt name as it’s often windy here. The Kansas-Missouri Compromise (1854) was established and Kansas joined the Union as a free state on January 29, 1861.
