The state of Utah has seen a large increase in confirmed COVID cases since beginning its phases of reopening. Salt Lake County, unsurprisingly, has the highest numbers of cases, hospitalizations, and deaths. The Utah Hospital Association made news recently. They are requesting that masks be mandatory for all Utahns and expressed serious concern that the continuous rise of cases will put unsustainable pressure on healthcare professionals.
