Yes — please plan to stay and build right alongside your kid. This is a hands-on day for families, not a drop-off. No tech background needed: the Lovable, Nursa, imagiLabs, and Silicon Slopes teams and our volunteers will be there all day to help you and your builder learn how AI, coding, and software really work. The day runs 9:00 to 4:00, with the demo showcase at 3:00.

Yes — each builder brings their own laptop with the Google Chrome browser installed, since that's what they'll build on all day. We're not able to provide laptops, so if that's a challenge for your family, please arrange one ahead of time.

Yes — one registration covers your whole crew. Add each kid during sign-up; each holds their own spot.

It's a super-smart autocomplete. It read a giant library of writing, so it's really good at guessing what should come next — and that lets it write, answer, and help build apps.

You describe what you want (a prompt), and it predicts the answer one small piece at a time until the app is built. Our Getting Started page shows this with an animation.

It's a helper, not a mind-reader. Kids drive it — the clearer they describe their idea, the better it builds. Learning to prompt well is the real skill of the day.

Computers don't read whole words — they chop text into little pieces called tokens. “unbelievable” becomes un·believ·able. The AI reads and writes in tokens. Try the token splitter on our Getting Started page!

Every time the AI does work, it costs a few credits. Bigger, fuzzier requests use more; clear, one-thing-at-a-time requests use fewer. Good prompts save credits and get better results.

That's normal and part of the fun! Test it, then tell the AI exactly what to fix. Building is really a back-and-forth conversation.

Yes! When it's ready, one click publishes it and Lovable gives you a link. Send that link to anyone and it opens on their phone or computer.

Publishing just puts the app at a web link you choose to share. Mentors help kids publish, and you decide who gets the link. Nothing is shared without you.
