Facility Background

Hillsboro Health and Rehabilitation Center is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation care center located in Hillsboro, Oregon. With roughly 64 full-time clinicians, they successfully use Nursa to cover weekend shifts, holidays, and last-minute call outs.

The Challenge

Hillsboro Health and Rehabilitation Center clinicians experienced employee burnout due to nursing shortages, which were heightened during the COVID-19 pandemic. She went on to remark, "In fact, right before I went on maternity leave, I remember turning to my boss, stressed about staffing, and her response was simply, 'Talk to Luke.'"
