The minimum requirements for companies to make the cut for the list include:

• Company headquarters are located in North America.
• The product is proprietary intellectual property or technology.
• The company is at least four years old.
• The company has base operating revenues of $50,000 at minimum.
• The company's operating revenue for the current year is $5 million or more.
