Melissa's House is assisted living in a home setting. The Medication Aide provides compassionate care to residents in our home, with a focus on safe medication administration and support with daily living.

Responsibilities include:

• Administering medications as authorized, following prescribed orders, care plans, and applicable requirements.

• Documenting medications accurately and promptly, including missed or refused doses.

• Observing residents for changes in condition or possible medication side effects and reporting concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

• Keeping medications secure and organized and communicating refill needs.

• Assisting with personal care, dressing, bathing, toileting, mobility, and meals as needed.

• Maintaining a clean, comfortable environment while respecting residents’ dignity, privacy, and preferences.

• Communicating clearly with residents, families, and the care team.

Candidates should have any required medication aide credentials, strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and a caring, respectful approach to working with residents.
