Whether you’re new to Nursa or created your account months ago, your profile is probably in need of updating. Learn how to update your profile and why in this how-to guide for facilities.

Why Facilities Should Keep Their Profiles Updated on Nursa

Maintaining an updated profile on Nursa helps both clinicians and facilities alike. Updated facility profiles help clinicians meet your facility’s requirements, understand which unit or specialty they will be working in, and provide accurate contact information so they show up to the correct location. On the facility side, having an updated profile ensures that you’re attracting and selecting from the most qualified pool of clinicians on the Nursa platform.

As Nursa’s online healthcare marketplace grows, it connects healthcare facilities with a deep pool of clinicians ready and willing to step into shifts. This dynamic ecosystem thrives on the up-to-the-minute accuracy of facility profiles. An up-to-date profile shows a facility’s commitment to excellence and forms the foundation of a thriving Nursa community. This dedication to maintaining current information will help foster a sense of trust and reliability, crucial for building lasting relationships within the healthcare professional network.

Update Your Facility Profile on Nursa in 3 Easy Steps

Updating your facility's profile helps Nursa connect you with qualified clinicians eager to pick up your open shifts. Follow these steps to ensure your facility stands out and attracts the best healthcare professionals for your shifts.

1. Login or Sign Up Your Facility with a New Nursa Account

The first step to updating your facility profile is to create or log into your Nursa account. If you are already connected to your facility, you can simply login and begin updating your facility’s details. However if you need a new account, you can sign up as a facility user and Nursa will verify and connect your new account to the correct facility.

By signing up, you gain access to a platform dedicated to addressing the specific needs of healthcare facilities. Whether you’re new to Nursa and our app or returning to update your profile, the facility sign-up process is your gateway to a multitude of staffing solutions. A complete and updated profile will accurately represent your facility’s needs and help attract the right clinicians to your doorstep.

2. Get Connected to Your Facility

2a. Search Your Facility Name

After successfully logging in to the Nursa app, navigate to the “Facilities” tab in the menu. If you are already connected to your facility, you can select it and begin updating your facility’s profile. If the facility is missing, search your facility’s name using the search function. It’s a first, vital step that paves the way for a more interconnected and productive experience on the Nursa platform.

2b. Select the Facility You Need to Connect To

Select the facility that you want to connect to and Nursa will verify and connect you to your facility as soon as possible. Upon getting verified, you will be able to update your facility profile.

By establishing this connection, you can perform critical updates and oversee the management of shift postings. It’s an important step that empowers you to actively shape how your facility is represented and engaged with on the Nursa platform.

2c. Access the Facility Profile

After you’ve been connected to the correct facility or facilities, you can now access your facility profile. Navigate to the facility you want to update, and click on the pencil icons to edit the profile and update your information.

With your facility now selected, the gateway to your facility’s profile is unlocked, leading you into a realm where customization and management converge. Here lies the heart of your facility’s digital presence on Nursa. Accessing your profile allows you to view your facility’s currently posted details and grants you the authority to make any necessary changes. It’s your opportunity to ensure that every piece of information accurately reflects the operations and needs of your healthcare facility, thereby attracting the right talent and opportunities through Nursa’s platform.

3. Edit Your Facility Profile

Be sure to review the facility details, address, and general contact information. Keeping this updated regularly ensures clinicians can easily find your facility before the shift or get in touch should they have any questions.

3a. Update Your List of Primary Credentials

Ensuring that your facility’s list of required credentials is up-to-date is essential. These requirements include specifying the primary qualifications and certifications needed for clinicians to work at your facility. By updating this list, you ensure that only qualified professionals request shifts, thereby maintaining high standards of care.

3b. Create Alternate Screening Lists

Flexibility in staffing is critical to addressing the fluctuating needs of healthcare facilities. By creating alternate screening lists, you can specify additional qualifications or credentials relevant to different roles or departments within your facility. These additional screenings allow for a more nuanced approach to staffing and will enable you to tailor your workforce to the specific needs of your patients and facility.
