Healthcare workers, such as nurses, nursing assistants, and medication aides, provide care to patients under the supervision and guidance of nursing managers or physicians. Nursa clinicians can work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted-living facilities (ALFs), nursing and residential care facilities, physicians’ offices, home healthcare services, and more.

Responsibilities might include:

A clinician’s duties can vary significantly based on their license type, work setting, and additional certifications or specialization, among other factors. Allowing for these variations, the following are typical responsibilities of healthcare workers:

Provide patient care
Assist patients with activities of daily living
Document patient care and maintain health records
Maintain patient confidentiality
Listen to patients, comfort them, and communicate any relevant information to supervisors
Observe, record, and report changes in a patient’s condition to supervisors
Collaborate with the rest of the healthcare team
Maintain safety standards and infection control procedures
Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures

Please meet at nurse's station for report. 30 minute break is mandatory, notify DON if not able to take lunch with reason. Please complete scheduled lab draws and skin checks. Medicare charting is expected on assigned patients. Maximum number of patients is 16 during day shift and 30 on NOCS. Medicare charting is on 10 patients, assigned patients depend on the shift.
