The ER is a fast-paced, high-stress environment that requires healthcare workers to possess unique skills and abilities.

In the ER, CNAs have the added responsibility of assisting with trauma patients and other emergency cases. This includes obtaining and documenting patient information, performing CPR, and transporting patients to other departments for diagnostic tests or treatments. ER, CNAs also aid in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the ER, as well as stocking supplies and equipment for efficient functioning.
