Responsibilities might include:
A clinician’s duties can vary significantly based on their license type, work setting, and additional certifications or specialization, among other factors. Allowing for these variations, the following are typical responsibilities of healthcare workers:
- Provide patient care
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
- Document patient care and maintain health records
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Listen to patients, comfort them, and communicate any relevant information to supervisors
- Observe, record, and report changes in a patient’s condition to supervisors
- Collaborate with the rest of the healthcare team
- Maintain safety standards and infection control procedures
- Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
Qualifications:

Please ensure you manage your time effectively while on shift. The following guidelines must be adhered to:
- Time Management:
- LPNs and CMAs may work up to one (1) hour beyond the end of their shift for necessary tasks.
- CNAs may work up to 15 minutes beyond their shift.
- Any additional time worked beyond these limits requires prior approval.
- Login Information:
- Your login information will be available at the nurse's station, printed near the schedule in the Agency book.
- If you plan to pick up more shifts or return in the future, please remember your login credentials.
- Mandatory Lunch Breaks:
- Per Oregon labor laws, a 30-minute lunch break is mandatory. This ensures compliance with OSHA regulations and labor laws.
Performance Rating Criteria:
We value professionalism and will assess your performance based on the following five criteria:
- Complete all charting by the end of your shift.
- Be punctual. If you anticipate being late, please call the facility at 503-256-2151. Note: You may be up to 15 minutes late for your shift but no more.
- Remember your login credentials for charting.
- Take the mandatory lunch break.
- Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration.
Important Reminder:
Failure to adhere to any of these rules more than three (3) times will result in a six-month restriction from returning to the facility.
