Pharmacology Tests are used to assess the knowledge of nurses in a wide range of medications and medical equipment. These tests are important for ensuring that nurses understand the proper use and administration of drugs and other healthcare products. The tests assess the nurse's understanding of the safety, efficacy, route of administration, and interactions of medications and medical devices.
The tests also assess the nurse's ability to recognize and interpret health information, recognize potential adverse reactions to medications, and recognize medication contraindications. To ensure that nurses meet the standards for a pharmacology test credential, they must correctly answer a minimum percentage of questions on the test. Upon completion of the test, passing candidates will receive their pharmacology test credentials. With this credential, nurses can demonstrate their knowledge of pharmacology and work safely and competently with prescriptions and pharmaceutical products.
