- Provide patient care

This job is a 5-day / week, M-F Administrative & Resident Engagement role:
This role supports the day-to-day engagement of residents through recreational activities, light event support, and basic administrative tasks. You’ll be interacting directly with residents, helping create a positive, safe, and inclusive environment.
Duties include:
- Assisting with one-on-one and small group activities such as BINGO, reading the news, or casual conversation
- Helping with community events, including serving food and beverages during parties or special gatherings
- Answering phones, scheduling room bookings, and completing other light office tasks as needed
- Coordinating and facilitating transportation for residents attending off-site events
- Following all safety procedures and working in line with the community’s safety protocols
- Providing respectful and courteous service to residents, families, guests, and coworkers
- Documenting any necessary information using the provided computer system
- Using activity materials and general equipment appropriately and safely
Skills & Expectations:
- Comfortable leading or assisting with group activities and giving clear instructions
- Able to interact with a wide range of residents, including those with higher needs
- Professional, patient, and calm under pressure or in challenging situations
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
- Basic computer skills are required for logging activities and documentation
- Must be able to adapt to schedule changes and be available for evening, weekend, or holiday shifts when needed
