Laila Ighani has been a contributing copywriter and editor at Nursa since January 2022. She specializes in writing compelling long-form content about nursing finances, per diem job locations, areas of specialization, guides, and resources that help nurses navigate their career paths. She has a history of writing within the wellness and holistic health sectors.
She has a Bachelor’s in Educational Psychology from the San Pablo Bolivian Catholic University and a Birth Doula Certificate from Simkin Center at Bastyr University.
On the eternal quest to find the right work-life balance in her life and curious to a fault, she loves researching topics and sharing ideas that might make others’ lives a little easier and more fulfilling. After years of teaching English and doing Spanish-to-English translation, she feels her previous work experience has led her to a role that better suits her strengths and interests. In her free time, Laila enjoys exploring the great outdoors with family and friends and reading novels accompanied by a good cup of coffee.
