The Slice of Healthcare Podcast, a top-ranking US Healthcare Business News podcast, recently interviewed Nursa founder and CEO Curtis Anderson. The interview explored Anderson's background, what Nursa is, his vision for Nursa in the future, and how Nursa differentiates itself from other healthcare staffing tools available.

What Makes Nursa Different?

Anderson shared his account of a nurse he met early on who had left her full-time nursing job of 10 years in order to care for her dying mother at home. She could not commit to a full or part-time schedule and ended up finding flexible work in another industry entirely.

Anderson explains that those stories of nurses inspired him to leverage technology to find a way to accommodate nursing talent and experience—both traits fundamental in the nursing industry—when their circumstances require more flexibility than traditional employment can typically offer. Nursa differentiates itself by offering more flexibility so nurses don't have to leave the industry and facilities can find staffing solutions in real time.
