Lori, a Kansas native, began working with Nursa in 2022 as a contributing writer and now also serves as a senior editor, shaping the company’s expanding library of clinician-focused and healthcare staffing content. She develops and refines resources on licensing and compliance, nursing specialties, workforce trends, and location insights that support clinicians and healthcare facilities nationwide.
Before transitioning into healthcare writing and editorial work, Lori spent eight years in social services roles, including long-term care, family support, risk assessment, and program management. Her background in documentation, assessment, and interdisciplinary communication strengthened her research and analytical skills—expertise she now applies to producing accurate, accessible, and evidence-based content.
Lori holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas and combines clinical context, investigative rigor, and editorial strategy to deliver meaningful resources that reflect the realities of modern nursing and healthcare delivery.
