Certified Nursing Assistant CNA - $27.2 per hour

Arrival Instructions

1. Parking- minimal parking in front of facility. Additional parking on side facility and the Church parking lot is also our parking (right next door to DMCC).
2. Enter Facility- enter through the front doors located at the front of the facility
3. Checkin- should occur at Nursing station.
   1. staff should director you to nursing station
   2. staff should NOT turn you away or refuse you to work
   3. Questions/Concerns contact Leslie (admin in training), Erlinda (DON), or Rosco (scheduler) prior to leaving facility if lost or confused (see Wifi instructions below).
   4. WiFi- cell signal is spotty depending on carrier. All clinicians should login to guest wifi to communicate with Desert Mountain Community Care staff regarding any and all Nursa scheduling concerns/questions/directions upon arrival. Wifi login available at nurse station or front door checkin.

To Avoid delays in your payment and potential DNR you must agree to and acknowledge the following:

1. Desert Mountain Care Center is Sub-Acute Specialty Focused and SNF
2. Complete your charting in PCC before the end of your shift, in order to get paid.
3. CNA's - If you provide a shower to your patient
   1. 1. You must complete the Shower Sheet paper form.
4. Complete the 530 form before you leave
   1. 1. The 530 form binder is located near the Nurse's station
5. Please take your required 30-minute break before the 5th hour.
6. Check-in for shift with charge nurse before checking in on the Nursa app.
7. MUST complete all POC charting and 530 form before end of shift (pay is subject to be withheld).
8. No using your cell phone during your shift, especially while in resident rooms
9. Only a 10-minute break within every 4th hour is allowed, charge nurse must be notified before every break.
   1. 1. ALL BREAKS INSIDE THE FACILITY MUST BE TAKEN IN BREAKROOM ONLY
10. Everyone is expected to be on time for every shift. 
11. CNA room assignment/showers/meal assist/room water pitcher's will be assigned by license nurses
12. Direct care staff must wear appropriate work attire: scrubs, BADGE WITH YOUR NAME IS REQUIRED, no sweats/joggers, no sweatshirts, no hats allowed, no long nails/acyclic nails, no open toed shoes and no back strap shoes.
