Job Description
Caregiver Responsibilities:
Although caregiver responsibilities can vary from one setting to another, the following are typical duties of caregivers:
- Provide companionship and quality personal care
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing and grooming
- Assist with housekeeping tasks, such as dishwashing and sweeping
- Ensure patient safety
- Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients
- Provide accurate observations of patients’ needs to supervisors and/or family members
- Create timely and accurate documentation
Caregiver Qualifications:
Nursa caregivers have the following qualifications and skills:
- A current Caregiver license
- BLS and CPR certification
- Experience in specialty depending on the job
