2025 Center Management | Orientation (PA)

Center Management Group requires an online facility orientation before any independent clinician works a shift at one of its Pennsylvania locations. The Center Management orientation for Pennsylvania covers how CMG runs its facilities, the compliance standards clinicians work under, and its resident care policies. Nursa verifies the credential on your clinician profile before Pennsylvania CMG shifts open to you.

Who needs to complete this orientation

The requirement reaches any clinical staff scheduled on-site at a CMG facility in Pennsylvania:

  • registered nurses
  • licensed practical nurses and licensed vocational nurses
  • certified nursing assistants and other nursing aides

What the orientation covers

Registry clinicians skip the onboarding a permanent hire gets, so the course concentrates on what matters on a first shift.

  • Facility protocols describe the procedures CMG expects staff to follow on the unit.
  • Compliance standards cover the rules clinicians work under on a registry basis.
  • Resident care policies set expectations for how residents are treated.

Where the requirement applies

This credential covers CMG shifts inside Pennsylvania. The group keeps a separate orientation for its New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut facilities, so clinicians working both regions need both on file.

Why the orientation comes first

A registry clinician has no onboarding week to absorb how a building runs, which is why CMG puts the orientation ahead of the first shift rather than alongside it. Completion has to show as verified in the state documents section of your clinician profile before Pennsylvania CMG shifts appear, so plan on finishing the course ahead of the shifts you want.

Complete your credential

This is facility-specific training, so the course lives in ShiftReady rather than with an outside certifying body. Work through every module in the Pennsylvania orientation, then check the state documents section of the Nursa help center for what needs to be on file before you request a CMG shift.

Testimonial about Nursa from the real users

Nursa is always there for me!”

“I love the easy user-friendly app with clear pictures and information about a facility. I work with other agencies and the Nursa app is most visually appealing! The best thing about Nursa though is the professional attitude of the staff whenever you call or need help. Again, surpasses other agencies”
