What does ICA stand for?
Independent contractor agreement. The abbreviation turns up on credential lists and shift requirements, which can make it look like a course or a certification. It is neither. It is a document you sign, confirming you take shifts at Calvert Manor as a 1099 contractor rather than an employee of the building.
Why do agreement uploads get held up?
Almost always for mundane reasons rather than anything to do with the terms. The usual causes:
- A name that does not match the one on your profile
- A missing signature or date on the last page
- A photo that cuts off an edge or is too dark to read
- Only part of a multi-page agreement uploaded
What happens if you skip it?
Calvert Manor shifts stay invisible. The requirement gates access rather than flagging a problem, so an unsigned agreement does not look like an error on your profile. It looks like a building with nothing available. Clinicians who conclude a facility never posts anything sometimes have an unfinished credential instead.
Where does this fit among the building's other requirements?
Handle it first, because it is the fastest one. Health screenings, training modules, and state documents each carry their own turnaround, while the agreement takes a signature and an upload. Clearing the quick item early leaves only the slower ones between you and a shift.

There is nothing to study and nothing to pass. The signed document is the credential.
- Tap Menu in the top left of the Nursa app.
- Select Profile.
- Scroll to the Credentials section.
- Tap Add your Credential.
- Upload your signed agreement as a PDF, WORD, JPG, or PNG.
