Autumn Lake Healthcare at Calvert Manor may require a signed independent contractor agreement before approving clinicians to pick up shifts at the building. It is reviewed and signed rather than completed.
Usually among the first items
Where a facility keeps both paperwork and training on a credential list, the paperwork tends to come first, since it establishes the arrangement that everything else sits inside. A clinician approaching a building for the first time will often encounter an agreement before the material describing how the place runs.
Tied to the building, not the operator
Agreements are held per location. A clinician who picks up at several Autumn Lake buildings may hold several of these, each named for its own and tracked independently on a profile. Completing one elsewhere does not carry.
The document is the source
Its terms, their duration, and what they ask of a clinician are set out in the agreement and nowhere else. Reading it in full before signing is the sensible order, and the facility is the party to take questions to.
Alongside the rest of the list
Signing does nothing about the other items a building may keep on file. Training records, certifications, and state documents are separate entries, and a posting names each one it calls for.
How to add this credential to your Nursa profile
For an agreement, this means reviewing and signing the document, which then sits on your profile.
- Navigate to your Profile in the Nursa app.
- Locate Credentials on your profile view.
- Select the "+" button.
- Select "Add Credential."
- Select the credential you want to add.
- Follow the instructions to add your credential.
Depending on the credential type, this may require uploading proof of the certification, reviewing and signing a document, or completing a facility-required training in ShiftReady. ShiftReady is an online learning management platform that offers clinicians access to a library of third-party training resources.
