Pennsylvania shifts at Center Management facilities open only to clinicians who have signed the group's contractor paperwork for the state. It is documentation rather than training, and once signed it sits on your Nursa profile alongside your license and your other nursing credentials.
Why does Center Management organize these by state?
Because the rules underneath them are state rules. Licensing, tax registration, and the law governing contractor relationships all operate at the state level, so an operator working across several states generally keeps a separate set of documents for each rather than one covering everything. Center Management applies the same logic to its orientation records, which is why Pennsylvania has its own there too.
What if you already signed the New Jersey agreement?
It does not carry over. The New Jersey paperwork covers New Jersey facilities, and Pennsylvania shifts stay closed until the Pennsylvania set is signed and verified. Clinicians who pick up on both sides of the line hold both, sitting as separate credentials on their profile.
What does this agreement not replace?
Everything else on the list. It is not a license, so confirm yours covers Pennsylvania before you request a shift. It is not orientation, which Center Management tracks in its own records. And it does not stand in for any state document a facility asks for separately. A signed agreement with gaps elsewhere still leaves shifts out of reach.
