Which facilities does it cover?
Two groups with different footprints. On the Center Management side it applies to facilities in New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut. On the Autumn Lake side it applies to that group's buildings, which include a cluster of Maryland locations. One completion serves both rather than one orientation per group.
What does the orientation cover?
A shared orientation stays at the level both operators have in common.
- Resident rights, abuse prevention, and the duties you carry as mandated reporters.
- Infection control and personal protective equipment.
- Emergency codes, fire response, and evacuation procedures.
- Safe transfers, body mechanics, and fall prevention.
- Documentation and shift handoff expectations.
How does it relate to the year-specific Center Management orientations?
Read the credential list on the shift rather than assuming. Center Management also maintains orientation records tied to particular years, and a shared orientation may sit alongside those rather than replacing them. If a shift names a specific record, that record is the one that clears it.
