Country Hills Post Acute | Orientation

Country Hills Post Acute requires orientation before a clinician works a shift there. It is a training requirement rather than a document you sign, and completion sits with your other nursing credentials.

Does one orientation cover every role?

Often, though not always. Some buildings run a single orientation for everyone on the units, since resident rights, infection control, and emergency procedures apply the same way to an aide and a nurse. Others split it, with a separate version covering medication administration, clinical equipment, and charting for licensed staff. The credential list attached to a shift tells you which version applies to you.

What does the orientation cover?

The ground a clinician needs before an unfamiliar first shift.

  • Building layout, supply locations, and where emergency equipment lives
  • Emergency codes, fire response, and evacuation routes
  • Infection control practice and personal protective equipment
  • Resident rights, abuse prevention, and reporting duties
  • Documentation standards and how handoff runs at shift change

Can you finish orientation and work the same day?

Sometimes, but do not plan on it. Completion has to register and clear before Country Hills shifts open to you, and that is not instant. A clinician who finishes the modules an hour before a shift starts may still find it unavailable. Treat orientation as something you clear ahead of wanting the work rather than in response to seeing it.

Complete your orientation

This training belongs to Country Hills rather than an outside certifying body, so it reflects that building and does not carry over to another.

Find the Country Hills orientation in ShiftReady and finish every module, then record it:

  1. Tap Menu in the top left of the Nursa app.
  2. Select Profile.
  3. Scroll to the Credentials section.
  4. Tap Add your Credential.
  5. Upload your document as a PDF, WORD, JPG, or PNG.

Sign up as a clinician and get Country Hills cleared so its shifts are available when you go looking.

Testimonial about Nursa from the real users

Nursa is always there for me!”

“I love the easy user-friendly app with clear pictures and information about a facility. I work with other agencies and the Nursa app is most visually appealing! The best thing about Nursa though is the professional attitude of the staff whenever you call or need help. Again, surpasses other agencies”
