Good Shepherd - Onboarding Complete Confirmation REQUIRED

Good Shepherd facilities may ask clinicians to confirm that onboarding is complete before approving them to pick up shifts at their location. The record works as an attestation rather than a course, so what satisfies it is confirmation rather than completion of new material.

A confirmation rather than a task

Credential lists carry a few kinds of item. Some are training to work through, some are documents to upload, and some are confirmations that something already happened. This is the third kind. It generally follows other steps rather than standing alone, which is why it can appear on a list after the items it refers to.

What it usually points back to

A confirmation of this type summarizes a set of steps rather than describing its own content. What those steps involve belongs to the operator that defined them, and they may include paperwork, training records, or both. The credential list on a shift posting shows what a particular building is looking for, and the facility is the place to check anything ambiguous.

Why operators track confirmations separately

Keeping a confirmation as its own record gives an operator a single item to look at rather than several, which matters more in settings that bring in per diem clinicians regularly. For the clinician, the practical effect is that the confirmation and the steps behind it are tracked as separate entries on a profile.

How to add this credential to your Nursa profile

Confirmation records are added the same way as any other credential.

  1. Navigate to your Profile in the Nursa app.
  2. Locate Credentials on your profile view.
  3. Select the "+" button.
  4. Select "Add Credential."
  5. Select the credential you want to add.
  6. Follow the instructions to add your credential.

Depending on the credential type, this may require uploading proof of the certification, reviewing and signing a document, or completing a facility-required training in ShiftReady. ShiftReady is an online learning management platform that offers clinicians access to a library of third-party training resources.

Testimonial about Nursa from the real users

Nursa is always there for me!”

“I love the easy user-friendly app with clear pictures and information about a facility. I work with other agencies and the Nursa app is most visually appealing! The best thing about Nursa though is the professional attitude of the staff whenever you call or need help. Again, surpasses other agencies”
