Why does a safety record ask questions?
Because some workplace safety obligations depend on the individual rather than the job. An organization cannot determine what protection a person needs without knowing something about that person, so the record collects rather than instructs. Nothing is completed in the usual sense.
What does OSHA govern here?
Federal workplace safety standards, several of which apply squarely to clinical settings. Bloodborne pathogen exposure, hazardous substance communication, and respiratory protection all carry requirements that shape how a unit operates and what an employer must provide.
Who sees the answers?
That depends on the standard and the organization's process. Questionnaires touching on personal health information are typically handled differently from ordinary paperwork, and the organization collecting the responses is the one that can explain its own handling. Anything unclear is worth asking about before submitting rather than after.
How does it fit with everything else?
As its own entry. Intermountain keeps several records covering different ground, and a safety questionnaire does not stand in for unit training or a department checklist. Credential lists on PRN jobs name each one separately.
Adding the credential to your profile
- Navigate to your Profile in the Nursa app.
- Locate Credentials on your profile view.
- Select the "+" button.
- Select "Add Credential."
- Select the credential you want to add.
- Follow the instructions to add your credential.
