What an orientation is for
Every building runs on a set of local facts that no license teaches: where supplies are kept, how a shift hands off, which extension reaches help, what the day looks like on that unit. Orientation is an operator's attempt to hand those over in advance rather than leaving a clinician to work them out on arrival.

Material of this type compresses what a permanent hire absorbs gradually into something completed beforehand.

- Standards that apply to clinicians working shift by shift.
- Resident care policies specific to the operator.
Because it is built around particular buildings, it belongs to that operator rather than to an outside certifying body, and it does not carry to another.
Operators with several locations
Where a group runs more than one building, records may sit at the group level, by region, or by individual location. All three patterns appear on credential lists. A posting names whichever applies, which is worth reading as written rather than assuming a related record already on file covers it.
How to add this credential to your Nursa profile
Facility orientations are added the same way as any other credential.
- Navigate to your Profile in the Nursa app.
- Locate Credentials on your profile view.
- Select the "+" button.
- Select "Add Credential."
- Select the credential you want to add.
- Follow the instructions to add your credential.
