What the two systems do
An electronic medication administration record replaces the paper MAR, holding what is due, what was given, and what was held or refused. Point of care documentation covers charting entered at or near the bedside as care happens, rather than written up later at a station. Together they account for a large share of what a clinician touches across a shift.
Why training is documented separately
Software differs between buildings even where the underlying work is identical. A clinician fluent in one system can lose real time on another, and documentation errors in a medication record carry consequences beyond inconvenience. Communities that train on their systems tend to keep a record of it rather than assuming familiarity.
What these records generally cover
Navigation and workflow rather than clinical judgment. Expect the sequence for a medication pass, how to record a hold or refusal, where different types of charting live, and what to do when an entry needs correcting. Charting practices transfer between systems; the interface does not.
Because the training covers one community's configuration, it belongs to that operator rather than to an outside certifying body.

How to add this credential to your Nursa profile
System training records are added the same way as any other credential.
- Navigate to your Profile in the Nursa app.
- Locate Credentials on your profile view.
- Select the "+" button.
- Select "Add Credential."
- Select the credential you want to add.
- Follow the instructions to add your credential.
