CNA ER Responsibilities:‍

Assist in triaging and assessing patients upon arrival, gathering vital signs and pertinent information
Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide necessary support during procedures and treatments
Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting any changes to the nursing staff promptly
Aid in transporting patients within the hospital and maintain a safe and clean environment
Provide comfort and emotional support to patients and their families during stressful situations
Assist with stocking and maintaining emergency room supplies and equipment

Facility Requirements:‍

Previous experience in an ER or critical care setting
Current, active CNA certification in this state
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Ability to provide physical assistance to patients as needed
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical-thinking skills
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, based on facility needs
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to different healthcare facilities within the area
