Old Dominion University provides a highly ranked public nursing education that integrates advanced technology with community-based practice. The Ellmer School of Nursing offers a traditional pre-licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), an accelerated online RN-to-BSN, and several graduate pathways, including a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). The traditional BSN program consists of 120 to 126 credit hours, with 66 credits dedicated to the nursing major.
