Responsibilities might include:
A clinician’s duties can vary significantly based on their license type, work setting, and additional certifications or specialization, among other factors. Allowing for these variations, the following are typical responsibilities of healthcare workers:
- Provide patient care
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
- Document patient care and maintain health records
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Listen to patients, comfort them, and communicate any relevant information to supervisors
- Observe, record, and report changes in a patient’s condition to supervisors
- Collaborate with the rest of the healthcare team
- Maintain safety standards and infection control procedures
- Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures

Arrival:
- Parking behind the facility
- When you arrive at the facility, go to building A, ask for charge Nurse or Cherry
- Check in at Station A- you must sign in on registry sign in sheet and sign 530 form
- If not completed this may delay payment
Late Arrival:
- If you are running more than 5 minutes late, call 310-370-4561
- Please be on time, if you arrive late you may be sent home.
- If you arrive late you cannot stay late to make up the time
Dress Code:
- Wear proper uniform (e.g., scrubs).
- Hair up during the shift.
- No Crocs or open-toed shoes allowed.
- No artificial nails or nail extenders (per infection control guidelines).
- No large hoop earrings or jewelry (scrub jewelry only).
Policies:
- You must complete all charting
- Notify the facility when you are leaving and sign the 530 form
- You cannot work more than 6 days in a row
