- Provide patient care
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
- Document patient care and maintain health records
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Listen to patients, comfort them, and communicate any relevant information to supervisors
- Observe, record, and report changes in a patient’s condition to supervisors
- Collaborate with the rest of the healthcare team
- Maintain safety standards and infection control procedures
- Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures

Check in at the front desk to verify what unit you will be working. Also, check in with the nurses at the nursing station for nursing assignment. Make sure to sign and write your round. For the AM shift and NOC, you will go into the building from the side door by the loading dock. PM shift can go in either through the front or the side door.
Parking for all staff is in lot in the back of the building
Orientation will take place on the spot at start of shift.
Two 30-minute breaks should be taken if you will work a double shift. Breaks must be taken separately and cannot be combined.
All documentation must be completed by the end of shift no exceptions. Please make sure you are staying for the entire shift and not leaving early. All shifts are 8 hours and you must stay to complete your rounds with the oncoming shift.
Binder with 530 forms are located in each nursing station must be signed for every shift worked.
Uniform required clean scrubs, closed toe shoes, name tag with first name and role, and gait belt.
Point Click Care must have knowledge with PCC and POC.
