Carthage College is a private, four-year college in Kenosha, Wisconsin, offering a campus-based Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The pre-licensure program combines classroom instruction, simulation lab practice, and supervised clinical rotations. Students develop core skills in health assessment, pharmacology, evidence-based practice, patient-centered care, communication, and clinical judgment. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for generalist nursing practice.
The program prepares graduates for the NCLEX-RN licensure exam and pairs nursing coursework with a broad liberal arts foundation. Compared with nearby associate-degree options, Carthage provides a full BSN pathway; compared with larger universities, it may appeal to students who want smaller classes and closer faculty support. Its Kenosha location also gives students access to regional clinical learning opportunities.
