Pasco-Hernando State College, West Campus, in New Port Richey, Florida, is a public two-year college with nursing education centered on the Associate in Science in Nursing pathway. The program is campus-based and combines classroom learning, lab practice, simulation, and supervised clinical experiences. Students can expect to build core skills in health assessment, pharmacology, patient care, communication, critical thinking, and evidence-based practice.
The nursing curriculum prepares graduates for the NCLEX-RN licensure exam. As a public state college, PHSC gives students a practical and often more affordable alternative to nearby private programs, while still offering access to regional clinical sites in the Tampa Bay area. The program is designed for students who want a direct route into entry-level nursing practice with solid hands-on preparation.
