Nursa Headquarters has been lit up in red all this week in honor of National Nurses Week.
Our headquarters is one of over 150 buildings nationwide—but the only one in Utah—that is part of Nurses Light Up the Sky, a campaign of the American Nurses Enterprise aimed at shining a light on The Power of Nurses™.
What is the purpose of Nurses Light Up the Sky?
“At Nursa, we're lighting up the sky for National Nurses Week because nurses deserve to be seen, celebrated, and supported. Every day, they show up with skill and heart. We're proud to be a platform that's a part of their nursing journey.” - Krishna, Community Manager
These beautifully lit-up landmarks during National Nurses Week 2025 (May 6–12) serve numerous purposes:
- They honor nurses.
- They generate awareness in the wider community.
- They create press opportunities, which bring even greater visibility to nurses’ invaluable role and daily challenges.
- They inspire social sharing—use the hashtags #ThePowerOfNurses and #NursesLightUpTheSky!
- Finally, these landmarks are perfect for meet-ups and mobilization during National Nurses Week.
Why light up the Nursa Headquarters?
Located at 5295 South Commerce Drive in Murray, Utah, the Nursa Headquarters is strategically positioned along I-15 near Intermountain Medical Center. The building offers excellent freeway access and is within walking distance to the Murray Central Frontrunner/TRAX Station, making it an ideal location for meetups during National Nurses Week.
Temkin Sky Pointe, which houses the Nursa Headquarters, has been an iconic part of the Salt Lake Valley's landscape since its construction in 1985. In 1986, it became home to KLKE-TV (channel 16), a Fox network affiliate serving Salt Lake City and the entire state of Utah. The station established its primary studios and offices within the building, contributing to the region's media landscape.
In short, with its blend of historical significance and prime location, this distinguished steel-and-glass building with floor-to-ceiling windows is an ideal location to light up during National Nurses Week to generate awareness about the valuable role of nurses in Utah and throughout the nation.
What else is Nursa doing for National Nurses Week?
“Thank you for the recognition. You put so much hard work in doing things and for the appreciation not to be reciprocated... I am with other people's family more than my own family.” - Meditriah LPN
Nursa exists to put a nurse at the bedside of every patient in need. And, in the process, we help nurses achieve the work-life balance they desire and reach their financial goals.
During National Nurses Month, Nursa has been featuring some of the wonderful clinicians on the platform, bringing greater visibility to the valuable work nurses do as well as to their needs and struggles.
