Curtis Anderson, founder and CEO of Nursa, was interviewed for the New York Stock Exchange Future in Five. Each year since 2021, different tech leaders worldwide have been interviewed with five different questions. The answers were filmed in Fortune Brainstorm Tech in Park City, Utah. Most of the questions are oriented toward how these leaders see our technology-driven future.
The questions for this year were the following:
- What is something in your field that is commonplace now that you think will be obsolete in 10 years?
- What technological breakthrough do you think we are on the cusp of achieving?
- What is one moonshot project you think the next generation of leaders should solve?
- What is one question you would ask the next leader we interview, without knowing who it is?
In this interview, Curtis Anderson briefly answers a fifth question, “If you could implement one fictional technology from movies or books into real life tomorrow, what would it be and why?” He answers, “The Replicator—from Star Trek, Next Generation—which used energy to change matter into different outcomes. I think there would be all kinds of problems we could solve with a 3D printer device that could output anything.”
Nursa is a two-sided contingent workforce platform in healthcare that connects a manager who needs short-term coverage with a qualified nurse who can fill that need.
