Jenna has been a contributing copywriter at Nursa since December 2021. She specializes in writing topics concerning the latest healthcare news and updates, empathy and compassion for nurses, how to show staff appreciation and increase retention, and guides that help nurses navigate career pathways.
She graduated from California State University, Dominguez Hills, with a bachelor's degree in Public Relations and Literature. Before leaving her home country to live overseas, Jenna was a grant writer for several in-house non-profits in the United States. While holding down her U.S.-based office jobs, she was certified as a 200-hour yoga instructor specializing in trauma-informed instruction for young adults and families struggling with addiction and homelessness.
Once abroad, Jenna made a career out of writing for niche markets, including alternative medicine, healthcare technology, and nutrition and fitness. At Nursa, Jenna illustrates her experience through an engaging tone and excels in articles about healthcare staffing issues, industry news, clinician appreciation, and nursing lifestyle. Strong coffee and South American street food are a few of her favorite indulgences.
