Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in patient's conditions to the nursing team
- Measure and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as needed
- Document patient information accurately and comprehensively
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Comply with all facility policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited CNA program
- Current, unencumbered California CNA certification
- Experience in a healthcare setting (excluding clinical rotations and orientation)
- Current BLS certification
